Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Green - Easy - No. 03 is ideal for setting up a harmonious, easy-care planted aquarium. The set includes Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus", Anubias barteri var. nana, Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii", Hemianthus glomeratus and Rotala rotundifolia as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration and ensure a natural balance in the tank.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive care mistakes.
Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus" is a low-growing rosette plant from tropical Central and South America that forms dense carpets with its light green, strap-shaped leaves. It grows quickly, prefers fine substrate and benefits from a good nutrient supply in the substrate. Thanks to its compact growth form it is ideally suited for designing the foreground.
Anubias barteri var. nana originates from Cameroon. It grows slowly, needs only little light and should be attached to roots or stones so that its rhizome cannot rot. This extremely robust species is almost insensitive to changing water parameters.
Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii" is a long-established, easy-care aquarium plant that forms small groups through runners and impresses with its narrow, lanceolate leaves. It tolerates a wide range of light conditions and grows slowly but steadily. With its natural, bushy appearance it blends harmoniously into the midground.
Hemianthus glomeratus, formerly known as Hemianthus micranthemoides, is a delicate stem plant from Florida with small, light green leaves. It grows upright, forms dense clumps and, with regular trimming, produces beautiful, compact cushions. Thanks to its fast growth it helps absorb excess nutrients and stabilizes the biological balance.
Rotala rotundifolia is a colorful stem plant that creates lively contrasts with its reddish shoot tips. Under medium to strong lighting it develops its full color intensity while remaining robust and easy to care for. Its dense shoots are ideal for the background and give the aquarium an impressive sense of depth.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is a harmoniously planted, easy-to-care-for layout.
