Description

The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Green - Easy - No. 04 is designed for a harmonious, easy-care layout in 60-liter aquariums. The set includes Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus", Anubias barteri var. nana 'Mini', Staurogyne repens, Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig', Limnophila sessiliflora as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration.

This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO₂, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive care mistakes.

Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus" is a light green, lawn-forming dwarf sword plant from Central and South America. In aquariums it quickly forms a dense, bright green carpet with its long runners. Medium lighting and a good nutrient supply promote compact growth. Added CO₂ is helpful but not strictly necessary.

Anubias barteri var. nana "Mini" is a particularly small selection of Anubias with narrowly ovate leaves about 4 cm long. The plant is extremely robust, grows in very low to strong light and needs no CO₂. It is ideal as an epiphyte on roots or stones but should not be completely buried in the substrate in order to protect the rhizome.

Staurogyne repens originates from the Rio Cristalino in Brazil and forms compact, sturdy cushions for the foreground or midground. The plant is easy to keep in shape by trimming and grows horizontally across the ground when cuttings are planted. With medium lighting and a sufficient supply of CO₂ and nutrients it develops into a dense, healthy carpet.

Hygrophila polysperma "Rosanervig" is a richly colored variety of the popular stem plant with pink leaf veins. It grows very quickly, effectively removes nutrients from the water and is therefore ideally suited for establishing a stable balance in the aquarium. Under medium light it develops densely branched shoots and sets vibrant accents in the background with its colorful leaves.

Limnophila sessiliflora is a finely feathered, light green background plant characterized by rapid growth and adaptability. It forms dense, soft bushes and is particularly well suited for the midground to background in planted aquariums. Under medium lighting it grows quickly, improves water quality and creates harmonious depth with its delicate appearance.

The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is a calm, natural overall look.
