Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Green - Medium - No. 04 was designed for the harmonious aquascaping of 60-liter aquariums. The set includes Micranthemum tweediei ("Montecarlo-3"), Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai', Cryptocoryne beckettii "Petchii", Staurogyne repens, Limnophila sessiliflora, Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The selected plants are robust, easy to care for and offer a varied structure with different leaf shapes and shades of green. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration.
This set is aimed at hobbyists who already have some experience in aquarium keeping. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilization 2-3x/week. The plants benefit from a regular nutrient supply and stable water parameters.
Micranthemum tweediei ("Montecarlo-3") is a popular carpeting plant from South America that grows flat and creeping and forms dense, compact carpets. Its rounded, dark green leaves give the foreground a lively appearance. The plant thrives in medium light with a regular nutrient supply and also forms cushions that cling to stones or roots.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' is a particularly small form of the dwarf Anubias with ovate leaves only a few millimeters long. It grows slowly, is extremely robust and can be attached to roots or stones without making any special demands on light or water quality. Thanks to its compact shape it is ideal for nano aquariums and foreground designs.
Cryptocoryne beckettii "Petchii" is a classic, easy-care aquarium plant from Sri Lanka. Underwater it develops lanceolate, brown to reddish leaves with slightly wavy edges that form dense rosettes. It grows reliably even in low light and prefers soft to medium-hard water.
Staurogyne repens is a sturdy, light green plant from Brazil that, thanks to its compact growth form, is ideal for the foreground and midground. It grows slowly to moderately and is easy to shape with regular trimming. With medium light and a stable supply of CO2 and nutrients it forms attractive, bushy cushions.
Limnophila sessiliflora is a finely feathered, light green stem plant from Southeast Asia that grows very quickly and has only low care requirements. It tolerates both soft and hard water and grows vigorously even under medium lighting. Its fast growth helps stabilize the biological balance and prevent algae.
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' is a striking, uncomplicated stem plant with white to pink leaf veins. It grows quickly, tolerates hard water and shows particularly vivid coloration under intense lighting. With regular trimming it can be cultivated as a bushy plant and brings dynamism to the midground and background with its color accents.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is a well-balanced planted aquarium that radiates vitality and natural beauty.
