The Aquarium Plant Set 60 Litre Green Medium No. 09 has been put together for planted aquariums with a natural and varied effect. The combination of fine-leaved stem plants, compact foreground plants and decorative epiphytic plants allows for a harmonious layout with different shades of green and growth forms. The set includes Rotala indica, Pogostemon helferi, Micranthemum tweediei ("Montecarlo-3"), Rotala rotundifolia, Staurogyne repens, Limnophila sessiliflora and Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'). The plants complement each other in their structure and create a lively overall appearance with dense planting.
This set is intended for aquarists who already have some experience. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilisation 2–3 times per week. The plants benefit from a regular supply of nutrients and stable water parameters.
Rotala indica is a delicate stem plant with fine leaves and dense growth. Under good lighting, it develops compact shoot tips and creates lively background planting. Regular trimming encourages bushy growth and a dense structure.
Pogostemon helferi stands out with its wavy leaves and star-shaped rosette. This compact plant is ideal for the midground and creates striking accents in the layout. It prefers nutrient-rich conditions and stable water parameters.
Micranthemum tweediei ("Montecarlo-3") forms dense carpets of small, fresh green leaves. The plant is ideal for the foreground and grows creeping across the substrate. With sufficient lighting and CO2, it develops particularly compact growth.
Rotala rotundifolia is one of the most popular stem plants in aquascaping and stands out for its fast growth. Under intense lighting, the fine leaves show attractive colour nuances. Regular trimming creates dense and natural background planting.
Staurogyne repens is a robust foreground plant with strong green leaves. It grows compactly and is ideal for creating low planted areas. With good nutrient supply, the plant develops dense groups with a natural effect.
Limnophila sessiliflora is a fast-growing stem plant with finely feathered leaves. It contributes to the biological stabilisation of new aquariums and provides a loose, natural background structure. Thanks to its fast growth, it effectively consumes excess nutrients.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is a very small epiphytic plant with dark green, firm leaves. It is ideal for attaching to stones or roots in the foreground and midground. Due to its slow growth, it is particularly easy to care for and long-lasting.
