JBL AquaSil transparent is a special transparent silikone for designing your hardscape and your rear walls.

- Shore A hardness (DIN 53 505): approx. 25)
- Temperature tolerance: -40 °C to +180 °C
- Film formation time: approx. 10 minutes
- Hardening time: approx. 2 to 3 mm/24 h.
- Density: 1,02 g/cm3
- Tensile strength (DIN 53 504): approx. 1.40 N/mm2
- Tearing resistance (DIN 53 504): approx. 575%
- E module 100% (DIN 53 504): approx. 0,5 N/mm2

Sehen ob es hält was es verspricht
Hatte noch nie richtigen Hardscape in einem Aquarium, das möchte ich jetzt einmal testen und da bei meiner Steinmenge die üblichen Kleber zu teuer sind, werde ich es mit diesem Silikon ausprobieren

Nach einem guten Frühstück sehr zu empfehlen.
Sogar ich als eher ungeschickter Mensch habe es hinbekommen eine (unsauber geschnittene) Plexiglasscheibe sehr fest im Aquarium zu verkleben. Leider ist bei der 80ml Variante der Kolben zum rausdrücken des Silikons nur mit etwas Kraft zu bedienen, aber das ist noch volkommen im Rahmen. Bei mir reichten die 80ml für insgesamt 1m Verbindungskante locker aus.
