Description
ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Pro is a special aquarium substrate made from high-quality natural black soil, developed with a focus on promoting optimal aquatic plant growth. The nutrient-rich soil supports vigorous plant growth while helping to maintain slightly acidic water conditions suitable for aquatic plants and tropical fish.
The substrate is enriched with important nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus and is designed to provide a long-lasting supply of nutrients. Compared with Amazonia Ver.2, Amazonia Pro has been developed with an even stronger focus on promoting plant growth. For optimal results, ADA recommends covering Amazonia Pro with a 10 to 20 mm layer of ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Ver.2. This allows the plants to benefit from the nutrients stored in Amazonia Pro while creating an aquarium environment that is less susceptible to algae growth.
Features
- Aquarium substrate made from high-quality natural black soil
- Designed to promote optimal and vigorous aquatic plant growth
- Rich and long-lasting supply of nutrients
- Enriched with important nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus
- Supports slightly acidic water conditions
- Designed for long-term plant growth
Note
The soil must not be rinsed before use, as this can cause the granules to crumble and make the water cloudy. Due to the natural properties of the soil, Amazonia Pro is not suitable for marine aquariums or tropical fish that prefer alkaline water. The product is also not suitable for fish that disturb the substrate.
Do not use an undergravel filter together with ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Pro.
Application
Pour Aqua Soil Amazonia Pro directly from the packaging into the aquarium and level the surface. Do not rinse the soil beforehand. When filling the aquarium, gently pour the water onto a plate or board to prevent the substrate from being disturbed. If the water becomes significantly cloudy after setup, carry out water changes until the cloudiness disappears before starting the filter. Small particles floating on the water surface can be removed with a net. For optimal results, the manufacturer recommends covering Aqua Soil Amazonia Pro with a 10 to 20 mm layer of ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Ver.2.
Product Safety Notes
Caution: Risk of swallowing
Warning notes:
- If parts of this product accidentally come into contact with the eyes or mouth, rinse immediately with tap water and consult a doctor if necessary.
- Keep out of reach of children.
General notes:
- This product is designed for the care and maintenance of aquatic plants and ornamental fish in aquariums. Do not use for any other purpose.
- Do not mix with products from other manufacturers. An excessive supply of nutrients may cause water cloudiness or excessive algae growth.
- Do not use fish medication in aquariums where ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia Pro is in use.
- Due to the natural properties of the soil, the water becomes acidic (lower pH and KH). The product is therefore not suitable for aquariums with marine fish or tropical fish that prefer alkaline water.
Handling notes:
- Do not rinse the soil, as this may cause the granules to break down and cloud the aquarium water.
- If the water becomes very cloudy after setting up the aquarium, continue changing the water until the cloudiness disappears before starting the filter.
- Do not use an undergravel filter with the substrate.
- Ensure that the flow from the filter outlet does not directly hit the substrate. Leave sufficient space between the filter intake pipe and the substrate to prevent particles from being drawn into the filter.
