The Aquarium Plant Set - 250 Liters - Green - Easy - No. 04 was designed especially for large aquariums to create a harmonious, natural-looking underwater landscape with robust, easy-to-care-for species. The set includes Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini', Anubias barteri var. nana, Cryptocoryne x willisii "lucens", Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown", Limnophila sessiliflora, Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig', Rotala rotundifolia and Aegagropila linnaei. The selection creates a calm, balanced overall picture that adds depth and structure. The moss balls complete the set as living decoration and also bring natural accents to the foreground.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.
Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact form of the cardinal flower with roundish, rich green leaves. It grows densely and evenly, is perfect for the foreground and provides a harmonious transition to taller plants. It is uncomplicated to care for and also tolerates low lighting.
Anubias barteri var. nana is an extremely robust epiphyte from West Africa. It grows slowly, prefers shaded spots and can be attached to both roots and stones. With its dark green, leathery leaves, it sets long-lasting accents in the midground.
Cryptocoryne x willisii "lucens" is a compact, undemanding rosette plant with narrow, lanceolate leaves in a fresh medium green. It forms dense groups and is ideally suited for the midground. Its even growth creates a natural sense of depth in the layout.
Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown" brings warm tones to the aquarium with its wavy, brown leaves. It is extremely easy to care for, adaptable and grows reliably under both low and medium lighting. Its bushy growth makes it an ideal structural plant for the midground.
Limnophila sessiliflora is a classic, fast-growing stem plant from Southeast Asia. With its fine-leaved, light green foliage, it forms dense stands in the background and adds lightness to the layout. Its fast growth helps build up the biological balance in the aquarium.
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' is characterized by its striking, light-veined leaves with a pink sheen. It grows quickly and thrives even under simple conditions. Regular trimming produces a bushy, colorful background stand.
Rotala rotundifolia is a versatile stem plant that turns from strong green to reddish depending on the lighting. It grows upright, densely and evenly, forming ideal contrasts to green plants. Its fine, elongated leaves give the background structure and dynamism.
Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is an easy-to-care-for, harmoniously structured plant set that impresses with different shapes, colors and growth heights.
