All Dennerle Quartz gravel types are coloured exclusively with natural or nature-identical iron oxides. These pigments provide a long-lasting, color-stable, and natural appearance that does not fade even under intense lighting or CO2 fertilization. Our iron oxides are not water-soluble under normal aquarium conditions and are completely safe for all aquarium inhabitants.
Application
The gravel should be thoroughly rinsed several times with warm water before use.

If you hate someone, give them this bag of gravel for their aquarium. It'll take them days to get this pile of dirt clean. (read more)

Great color and good quality. You do have to wash the gravel beforehand, but in the aquarium the gravel really impresses!

The crystal quartz gravel has a nice colour and it is very easy to plant and put decorations in it.
