The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Colorful - Medium - No. 05 offers a harmonious mix of green and reddish aquatic plants for small aquariums. The set includes Lilaeopsis brasiliensis, Bucephalandra sp. "Biblis", Staurogyne repens, Rotala rotundifolia "Green", Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The combination creates depth, structure and natural color contrasts in the layout. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration and contribute to the biological balance of the aquarium.
This set is aimed at hobbyists who already have some experience in aquarium keeping. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilization 2–3× per week. The plants benefit from a regular nutrient supply and stable water parameters.
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis is also known as “New Zealand grass”, although it originally comes from South America. It grows like a lawn and forms dense, rich green carpets under strong lighting. This Brazilian grass-like plant is also considered suitable for brackish water aquariums.
Bucephalandra sp. "Biblis" originates from the island of Borneo and stands out with its dark, shimmering purple leaves. It grows slowly, clings firmly to roots or stones with its roots and forms compact groups over time. Under medium lighting and a constant nutrient supply it develops its full color intensity.
Staurogyne repens is a sturdy, light green stem plant from Brazil. It grows densely, is easy to shape by trimming and is suitable both as a low bush and as a carpeting plant. With a regular supply of light and CO2 it shows a particularly fresh green.
Rotala rotundifolia "Green" is a light green, fast-growing stem plant that keeps its fresh color even under strong lighting. It grows bushy with elegantly overhanging shoots. Occasional trimming promotes its dense, balanced shape and ensures a well-kept overall look.
Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" is a small-leaved, fast-growing stem plant that shows an intense red even under medium lighting. It forms fine, branched stems and sets strong color accents. Regular trimming promotes bushy growth, and with a good nutrient supply the plant stays compact and bright red over the long term.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is a harmonious, colorful plant set that makes small aquariums look lively and balanced.
