Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Green - Medium - No. 03 was put together to create a harmonious, natural-looking layout in smaller aquariums. The set includes Micranthemum tweediei "Montecarlo-3", Bucephalandra sp. "Biblis", Eriocaulon sp. "Vietnam", Rotala sp. "Nanjenshan" and Hemianthus glomeratus as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration and additionally support the biological balance.
This set is aimed at hobbyists who already have some experience in aquarium keeping. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilization 2–3× per week. The plants benefit from a regular nutrient supply and stable water parameters.
Micranthemum tweediei "Montecarlo-3" is a carpeting plant that forms dense carpets and is ideally suited for foreground areas. It grows compactly and vigorously in medium light with an even nutrient supply.
Bucephalandra sp. "Biblis" is a small to medium-sized, vigorous Bucephalandra form from the island of Borneo. It has firm leaves with a greenish shimmer and grows on both stones and roots. With its slow growth and attractive leaf colors it provides a beautiful contrast in the midground.
Eriocaulon sp. "Vietnam" is considered an uncomplicated and robust species. It forms grass-like rosettes and is ideal for the middle to front areas. The plant thrives under stable conditions and benefits from added CO2.
Rotala sp. "Nanjenshan" is a fine-leaved, very bushy stem plant from Taiwan. With its linear leaves it creates an airy structure and is perfect as an accent in the background. Under strong light it shows a slightly reddish coloration.
Hemianthus glomeratus is a graceful stem plant from Florida that impresses with its delicate appearance. It grows quickly and helps absorb nutrients from the water, thereby preventing algae growth. Regular trimming results in dense cushions.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is a vigorous, balanced plant set that makes for an attractive look.
